The PlanetDoctor platform offers providers a user-friendly interface to conduct video consultations and record prescriptions, notes, lab requests, and more—all from a single screen.

This guide walks you through the steps to start a consultation, input clinical data, and submit the final prescription.

Step 1: Start the Video Consultation

  1. Log in to the platform as a provider.

  2. Navigate to your Upcoming Appointments section from the dashboard.

  3. Click the appointment link that becomes active 15 to 25 minutes before the scheduled time.

  4. On the consultation screen, click on "Click to Start Video consultation" to initiate the session with the patient.

Step 2: Access the Prescription and Encounter Sections

During the consultation, you will see various tabs at the top of the screen, including:

  • Allergies

  • Prescription/Encounter

  • Vitals

  • Health Complaints

  • Lab Tests

  • Documents

  • Provider Notes

  • Radio/Scan Test

These sections allow you to input all clinical information during or after the consultation.

Step 3: Add Provider Notes and Save Data

  1. Click on the “Provider Notes” tab.

  2. Enter your notes in the "Description" field. Example: All reports normal.

  3. Click the "Save Notes" button to store the input.

Repeat similar steps for other relevant sections like E-Prescription, Lab Tests, and Vitals.

Step 4: Finalize and Submit

After filling in all required medical data:

  1. Ensure every necessary section has been completed and saved.

  2. Click the “Submit” button located at the top-right of the screen.

This action finalizes the consultation and sends the complete prescription and clinical data to the patient.

Notes

  • The Submit button is mandatory to complete the consultation.

  • Failing to click Submit may result in incomplete or unsaved records.

  • Always verify all entries before submission.
